We greet you with warmth and gratitude from Legacy Christian Academy in Uganda. It is with great joy that we share with you the remarkable developments taking place within our school community as we embark on a season of growth and transformation.
In February 2024, Legacy Christian Academy experienced a significant increase in enrollment, welcoming 125 new students into our family. Among them, a large portion are bright-eyed kindergarteners. A few of the students are new to our village as their families have come so that the fathers can begin our degree program at Shepherds Training College. Our total student body at Legacy now stands at an impressive 696 students!
With the influx of new students, we have also expanded our team with the addition of 14 new teachers. These dedicated educators enrich the learning experience for our students and foster an environment of academic excellence and spiritual growth in the heart of Kubamitwe.
Our theme for this school year is based on the book of Genesis! The creation story in Genesis offers rich opportunities for exploring themes of God's creative power, the sanctity of life, and humanity's role as stewards of the earth. Please pray for these students to learn to love the scriptures and apply them to their lives!
At Legacy Christian Academy, we are committed not only to nourishing the minds and souls of our students but also their bodies. We are grateful to be able to provide two nutritious meals a day, ensuring that every child receives the sustenance they need to thrive academically, physically, and spiritually!

Legacy Student Highlight
My name is Harriet Merisha Nansubuga! I am in 10th grade at Legacy Christian Academy. I have been attending Legacy since it first started, 11 years ago!
I have personally gained a lot from this school including educational services, games and sports activities. Most importantly I became a Christian and a follower of Christ Jesus. I got saved when I was in 6th grade!
I am working hard because after school I would love to be a surgeon so that I can help the needy in my community.
The opportunity of attending school at Legacy is just amazing. We used to study only four subjects in primary school, but now I am studying ten subjects which have been fun and lovely!
Attending Legacy is the best decision I have ever made in my life!
